  • Huggies Little Snugglers Newborn Diapers and the Issue We Have with Them

*Disclaimer - I did not receive anything for review. This is just a post about a product that we have had an issue with, and hoping to somehow get the issue resolved.

We recently had our 3rd child in mid May, and of course with as much blogging as I do I received a lot of diapers to keep us stocked up.

But, we did end up buying several boxes of Huggies Little Snugglers Newborn size diapers and spent about $30 for each box. Below, is just a photo of Huggies Little Snugglers. We bought it with more count wise in it.

    The issue? They LEAK!

I have tried to contact them on their website directly, but it won't submit my complaint of the issue. We have boxes of size 1 and 2 as well, but those are un-opened as he's in a newborn in most brands of diapers. My husband suggested to do a review of the diapers on my blog, even though we bought the diapers not receive them for a review. So, this is just a warning to other moms who may have an issue with Huggies as well to know that they're not alone.

They responded to my Amazon review of the diapers, but did not email me directly when I let them know it won't let me submit my inquiry on their website, so I have no idea if this post will help reach out to them or not. I love their products, but it seems like their newborn snugglers diapers just don't work well for babies much.

Our first two kids were both in Huggies diapers until done potty training. We had very little issue with the diapers at all with our first child, and with our second we had an occassional leaking issue but not too often. This time, it's a constant issue of leaking. He has NO leaking at all with the other brands we use for diapers; only Huggies Little Snugglers diapers.

It's frusterating when this is not a cheap brand by any means. They have definitely changed how they make their diapers, and the newer material isn't half as good at all as it use to be for babies. And some places say to go a size up, but I've tried the size 1 on him and it's way too big to even attempt to try them out to see if the issue stops. It's like he needs changed every 30 - 45 minutes when using Huggies diapers, yet is fine for 1 1/2 - 2 hours when using other brands, with no leaking issue.

    1. I'm so sorry to hear you had trouble. We only use Pampers because we had bad luck with Huggies also. I figured they just didn't fit my kids well.

    2. Honestly, I think so much of it has to do with the individual baby and their size, bone structure, etc. I don't think every diaper will work for every child without leaking, but I wish it would!

    3. My little one faced the same problem. I thought it would help looking at the savings in store but I realized it was wise to stick with my old reliable Pampers!

    4. I find every child is different when it comes to diapers. Also the stage they are at. I alternated between huggies and pampers with my oldest because of this.

    5. I always used Huggies with my boys when they were babies. They worked well for us.

    6. Sorry they didn't work for you. It really is trial and error. I used a few different brands when my daughter was a baby,
