  • Evenflo Big Kid / Right Fit Booster Seat Review

*Disclaimer - I received this Evenflo Booster seat from Evenflo in order to facilitate this review for my readers. All opinions are 100% my own and my family's.

I will be doing my review first in text and then adding the pictures of the booster empty and while in proper use, so that you know how to exactly use it properly for your child.

My review of the Evenflo Big Kid / Right Fit Booster Seat:
When I first got the package of the Evenflo Right Fit Booster Seat I was very impressed! I have been needing to get my 4 1/2 year old daughter a new carseat that's a highback, because she has a tendency of falling asleep and slouching over which isn't good. I was fortunate to be able to work with the amazing Evenflo on a review of just the booster seat she needed! I was in for a nice surprise when it came here in red, not green. She loves it too! My daughter is about 42 lbs in weight and about 3 1/2 feet tall. This awesome booster seat even has activity lights for the child on the side of their head! How many boosters do you know that have that high tech kind of stuff on it?? I don't know of any, but it's a nice addition to have, especially if you'll be on a long car ride. It has multiple settings on the lights and needs 4 AAA batteries.

Some neat features this booster seat has:
    - It offers a 2 in 1 design that allows them to transition from a high-back booster seat to a no-back booster seat.
    - There are 12 different head rest and back rest height adjustment combinations, as well as, E3 foam integregated into the head and back rest components help to reduce Side Impact forces.
    - It also has dual cup holders that will keep drinks and snacks close.

    Pricing for this booster seat:
    Babies R' Us - $89.99

    Cleaning Instructions:
    - Plastic may be wiped clean with mild soap and water and dried with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
    - Take care not to damage any labels.
    - Machine wash the seat pad separately in cold water, delicate cycle, and tumble dry 10 - 15 minutes on low heat.

    Product Dimensions:
    Product Height: 29" - 33.5"
    Product Width: 19.5"
    Product Depth: 19.5"

    1. This looks like a great seat, but can you tell me more about what those activity lights do? I've never heard of that before.

      1. I will have to take pictures tomorrow night of the lights. I had never heard of them either in a carseat. we haven't used them at night, so I will tomorrow and review that portion of it better.

        Thanks for the question!

    3. Does it use the LATCH system? Can it be used without the LATCH system? Basically, can it do both?

      1. Latch as in a harnessed carseat? No, it doesn't include any harness 5 pt system. It only has a latch on the side where the seatbelt lays in.

    5. It is always better to go for a right option when it comes to choosing a car seat. Even I used to put my baby in the rear facing car seat just over the middle portion of the back seat. This really helped in reaping a couple of benefits unlike the way you have named here. Therefore we also got the same space over the front seats along with the other options. If you too have similar options at your end, you can also enjoy a couple of benefits unlike the ones we experience at our end. You can use the seat belt in the middle section provided things are right at your end.
